Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) is essential when you need to back up instruments which uses high power line voltages such as 90-230 Volts.
In most cases when power backup is needed, the load uses low voltage, for example computing, communication, medical and networking equipment. In these cases, UPS is unnecessary.
Non stop power supply are uninterruptible DC power supply, which means AC to DC power supply with either a battery or capacitors backup. Nonstop Power Supply provides stable low voltage like 12V 24V or multiple PC voltages during either momentary power failures or longer ones. Nonstop Power Supply is more cost effective and smaller than UPS. Its efficiency is 15% higher compared to UPS systems and the battery’s operation time is longer.
